The boat travelled all night and arrived 6:00 am at Mohàcs.
Breakfast and no did not behave, ate a bit of everything.
Jumped on a bus. Looked out the window at a statue and it was a miracle! It spoke to me, "So your going on a coach tour"
It was about 40 minutes to the small town Pècs which is pronounced as Pècs, oops I mean Peach.
Pécs is an ancient city in southern Hungary, close to the Croatian border. Founded by the Romans, it's known for its architectural landmarks such as the Early Christian Mausoleum, which features frescoed tombs. Vast Pécs Cathedral towers over central Szent István Square. The domed Mosque of Pasha Gazi Kasim was built in the 16th century during the Ottoman occupation of the city and is now a Catholic church.
Fantastic little town, and being Sunday morning very quiet and great for taking pictures.
Pécs: ceramics are synonymous with the Zsolnay factory, founded in 1853 by Miklós Zsolnay, which became a world-renowned manufacturer ofArt Nouveau porcelain, eosin lusterware, and durable Pyrogranit architectural ceramics. Under Vilmos Zsolnay, the factory achieved international fame through innovative, high-quality, and artistically designed pieces, becoming a symbol of Hungarian heritage.
The market place we saw in Budapest and many other building in Hungary have those beautiful tile roofing. This is where the tiles came from.
So we explored it
It is lunch time so back to the boat. We are special so were invited to the posh restaurant at the back of the boat.
